    OneDrive Uncontrollable


    Hi. When signing into my Microsoft account on my new PC I chose to link my OneDrive account. Ever since, OneDrive has been wreaking havoc in all my folders, files, and even desktop links. Multiple times, I have gone to OneDrive settings to stop backup and sync and even unlink my PC from OneDrive. Repeatedly, OneDrive reattaches itself to my PC and begins taking over my folders, files, and desktop links. I put a lot of work into configuring my PC the way it needs to be for the work I do and OneDrive routinely destroys that work. How do I put an end to this? Thanks for your consideration.

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    Hi,

    We'd like to know more about your concern regarding the uncontrollable cursor when playing games. Please answer the following:

    • Have you made recent changes to the settings or installed updates prior to this issue?
    • Aside from gaming, is the issue also happening when navigating to other programs?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • Have you tried using a different mouse to check if the same issue will occur?
