Windows 10: OneDrive will not work - "Upgrade your browser" message

I'm trying to get OneDrive working on a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit machine, and whenever I try to login to my personal account I just get this message:

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

Outlook on your mobile browser is being upgraded

Not long ago we released an opt-in toggle for users to be able to try the new experience of Outlook in a mobile browser, while we are working to make this experience better we wanted to give you a heads-up of the features that are coming, and some that won’t be there anymore.

Following are the set of features not yet available in the new version of Outlook in a mobile browser.

Currently not supported (Coming soon)

Mail:

Add cloud attachments from first- and third-party providers

Add attachments from OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, and other third-party cloud storage providers

Item view for incoming mails

Each message received will be considered as a new message list item. Currently we have support for conversation view for email threads.

Choose “from” address while sending an email message

Ability to switch between email addresses on the “from” line while sending email messages

Reply with meeting

Search suggestions

Show categories applied to messages

Display categories applied to messages in the list view and reading pane

Suggested replies

Calendar

Swipe between days in Day view

Calendar event help text

Tips on recurring event and event responses in event details page

Create events from day view

Tap on the day view to create events at a specific time

Option to propose new time

Attach files when creating an events

Ability to view Shared calendars

People

Schedule a meeting from contact card

Launch map from contact location

Launches a Bing search for the location

Add school, location, hobbies in other details while creating or editing a contact

Search suggestions

Directory list in menu

List of directories available from the menu

Access to Settings from the People view

The following features will not be supported anymore in the new Outlook for mobile browsers.

Mail:

No option to set message sensitivity & importance

Set sensitivity and importance to specific message sent

No voting buttons

Read receipts

No option to apply retention policies

No access to add-ins

No ability to view shared folders and shared mailbox in folder list

Calendar:

No Calendar search

set email reminder for events

No support for adding or searching for people’s calendars

No ability to add groups’ calendars

No option control from Settings which events from your email are automatically added to your calendar

People:

Contact & contact list filter

View contact and contact list separately. In the new Outlook this can be done from the menu option in People section.

No ability to search within folders

This update will make Outlook faster, with a better design, and help us deploy fixes and updates in less time for a more secure experience than before.

OneDrive Message Center Updates July 1st-15th

We are excited to announce three new updates coming to the OneDrive desktop client this month. These features will help users feel more in control, empowered to provide feedback, and better educated about what’s happening with their files.

Pause OneDrive sync when Battery Saver is on

Begins rolling out to customers in July 2018

To help conserve battery life on Windows devices, we are making improvements to the OneDrive desktop client to automatically pause sync whenever the device switches to “battery saver” mode.

As soon as we detect that a device enters “battery saver mode” we will automatically pause syncing and show a Windows toast notification informing you of why the desktop client was paused. Once we detect that the device is no longer in “battery saver” mode, OneDrive will auto-resume.

We will also give you the option to ‘Sync anyway’, which will un-pause sync and will respect your selection while OneDrive is running (until you sign-out or exit OneDrive or shut down your device) even if the devices switches to/from “battery saver” mode.

In addition to the toast, OneDrive Activity Center will inform you that OneDrive is paused because the device is in “battery saver” mode

Send Feedback

Begins rolling out to customers in July 2018

You are now able to send positive or negative feedback to us as well as suggest new ideas by clicking on “Send Feedback” under OneDrive desktop client settings/preferences menu from any device running the OneDrive desktop client.

You can send us feedback on what we are doing right or what we need to improve on and address, as well as suggest a new idea by clicking on either “I like something”, “I don’t like something”, or “I have a suggestion”. If you have a suggestion or an idea, clicking on “I have a suggestion” will take you to our UserVoice site where you can submit a new idea or upvote an existing one. If your organization has “Report a problem” disabled, the same policy will also disable “Send feedback”.

Updated Activity Center

Begins rolling out to customers in July 2018

We’ve modernized the OneDrive Activity Center to improve ease of use and understanding. The Activity Center is your go-to place for seeing the status of the OneDrive desktop client or to customize your experience. This experience will begin rolling out to customers in late July
