Windows 10: Onedrived wiped out my hard drive including the operating system

Last night I wanted to work from home, so I decided to login into onedrive to access one file from my work computer. I logged in using my laptop. As soon as I logged in, Onedrive started to synch all my personal files with my work computer at the office. I immediately stopped synching and logged out. Then I noticed all my files were gone. 300 Gb worth of pictures gone. My videos gone. Everything was gone. After 2 hours of panicking and researching online, I decided to log back in and let in synch. Hoping that at least I would get my important files back, even if its on my work computer. Onedri

I will be selling my PC in a couple of days, is there a tool which will allow me to completely wipe the hard drive so no sensitive information can be recovered, but also leaving the hard drive in a usable condition because it will be formatted with a new Operating System ready for the next user.

I accidentally wiped out my wireless internet connection or hard drive network and cannot get the laptop to respond and was wondering how much would it cost for somebody in my hometown of Muskegon Michigan to repair the laptop by reinstalling the operating
system and network hard drive..?
