Windows 10: OneNote crashes immediately after drawing after updating to version 2505

Hello,I run Windows 10 and use OneNote Version 2505: May 29Today my OneNote crashes when I use the pen tool. I draw, the pen cuts out, and then the app crashes within ~5 seconds. I believe it auto-updated yesterday. When I re-open the app it gives the "We couldn't start OneNote the last time we tried" message. I tried running normally, clearing settings, clearing notebook cache. . and it still crashed after drawing. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it is still crashing. I cleared the OneNote cache manually, closed all my notebooks, cleared my printer spool, and tried logging out and i

• Are you using OneNote 2016 or the built-in OneNote app of Windows 10?
• If you're using OneNote 2016, what is the full version number of your Office. To determine the version of your Office, follow the steps

• Can you please provide us the step-by-step process on how you're attempting to draw in OneNote using the touchscreen?

 

OneNote drawings disappeared.

My OneNote drawings randomly disappeared and left the text only. How do I get these drawings back. This is for an assessment that's due tomorrow morning and I have already tried restarting, shutting down and closing the OneNote repeatedly. Also I don't think they got deleted. Please help if you can and if possible give multiple suggestions for fixing this in case one doesn't work, thank you so much.

You have the Fresh Paint app(available on store) to do that and no, unfortunately you still can't draw using the OneNote app on your phone.

As for suggestions, use the feedback app on your phone to send them to MS.
