Windows 10: OneNote desktop Not syncing and notebook file missing

Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with OneNote Desktop. A notebook that I used to access is no longer syncing to the cloud OneDrive, and the file seems to have disappeared.Here are the details:• I'm using the OneNote Desktop version not the Windows 10 app.• The notebook was previously saved in OneDrive, but now it doesn't appear there.• In OneNote, the sync status shows an error or says the notebook can't be found.• I've tried signing out and back in, checked my Microsoft account, and looked in the OneDrive Recycle Bin—nothing helped.• I also searched my computer for .one files in case it was

Syncing additional OneNote notebooks

You can open the a notebook from SkyDrive in one of two ways:

• Open from office.live.com from IE on the phone
• Send yourself a OneNote hyperlink (onenote as created by OneNote 2010 on the desktop

For most people just do #1, open IE and go to Login | Microsoft 365 Copilot, signin and then find your notebook and you are all set.

OneNote "Sync Conflicts"

I'm having the same issue. I use 2010 desktop version and sync w/ my WP7. 3-4 days per week I try to sync and get the issue. This is my (PIA) workaround:

1. Delete the conflicting document in onenote desktop client (as suggested by a commenter)
2. Remove the live tile
3. Delete the file from my phone.
4. Re-sync entire notebook so most recent version appears on phone.

What a pain.

It seems totally random. I don't notice if it's changes from my phone to the desktop client or vice-versa. Just seems to pop up.
