Windows 10: OneNote - perfect until shared - then the text moves.

I have been keeping a journal about COVID-19 and am pleased with the result. I am not a beginner.When I sync/share, there are issues.The text moves, often overlapping.Rendering it useless.Can I send you a screenshot?Can you help please? Disappointed.

Maps 4.1601 sharing to Onenote 15.0.4805.1003 silently fails

I'm running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3.

I launch the Maps app, find a noteworthy point I want to note, click the sharing icon, choose OneNote from the list of sharing apps, a panel is priduced on the right side where I can choose where the note will be shared and edit the text of the note, then
I click Send.

Nothing is ever sent to OneNote. Complete fail.

If I try to use the same sharing feature to Mail, then Mail launches with the map data.

If I try printing the map data, then choose Send to OneNote 2013, then OneNote receives and stores the printout.

OneNote version 15.0.4805.1003

Has anybody else seen and solved this?

 

OneNote "Sync Conflicts"

Sync conflicts error shown in OneNote can be resolved by using OneNote desktop client. To stop seeing this error, can you follow the below steps:

1. Open the page which is having conflicts in OneNote desktop client or in Internet explorer
2. Open the page in which this error is shown
3. On the top of the page there will be a text bar shown. Pressing on the text bar will show conflicting pages for this page.
4. Delete the conflicting page by selecting the page and right clicking on it.
5. Sync the changes from desktop to server
6. After the above steps, open the page in Mobile and tap on "refresh" to get the changes made on the server.

After step 6 is done, sync conflicting error message should be stopped from prompting.

OneNote page jumps when moving mouse if marker is present

This is a bug report rather than a question - do please advise if there is somewhere more appropriate to send it.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a page containing exactly one text box, with a single word
2. Label this line with a "marker", e.g. check box or question mark.
3. Move the mouse repeatedly over and out of/into the textbox area.

Expected response: nothing to happen except for the mouse cursor to move.

Observed response: the whole view jumps horizontally sporadically.

Details: I'm using OneNote for Windows 10, version 17.9226.20641.0. Windows 10 is version 1709, build 16299.431.

Additional comments:

Whilst reproducible in a very small example as described above, the problem is more pernicious in a more heavily populated page that contains a mix of text and images. Moving the cursor still results in horizontal jumping, but sometimes the entire view gradually
shifts to one side. This jumping is visually jarring, and greatly detracting to the overall experience.
