Windows 10: OneNote stored in One Drive not syncing between Thinkpad and Surface?

I suspect that depending on which device I created the notebook in Thinkpad or Surface, the files were saved to different locations in One Drive. How do I integrate all the folders into one location that sycs the same between the Thinkpad and the Surface? I possibly have Windows 10 on one devise and 365 on the other.Thanks,Helen

OneNote "Sync Conflicts"

Hi Tom,



Sync conflicts error shown in OneNote can be resolved by using OneNote desktop client. To stop seeing this error, can you follow the below steps:

1. Open the page which is having conflicts in OneNote desktop client or in Internet explorer
2. Open the page in which this error is shown
3. On the top of the page there will be a text bar shown. Pressing on the text bar will show conflicting pages for this page.
4. Delete the conflicting page by selecting the page and right clicking on it.
5. Sync the changes from desktop to server
6. After the above steps, open the page in Mobile and tap on "refresh" to get the changes made on the server.

After step 6 is done, sync conflicting error message should be stopped from prompting.

OneNote not syncing on tablet and windows

I'd like to ask what changes have you made prior to this issue. Try reinstalling OneNote on your device.

looking for apps which will sync between Surface and Win 8 phone

My suggestion is to use

OneNote with a notebook hosted on your FREE Skydrive storage. Super simple to setup, and both your surface and win phone will work great. By the way this is the default architecture for "My Rooms' in Win Phone. It posts a new notebook to your skydrive.
Then you can just go to your surface open up onenote and sync your notebooks with skydrive.
