  1. OneNote (Windows 10 Version) doesn't support recent TLDs

When trying to share OneNote notebooks via the Windows 10 version of OneNote it can't recognise recently added TLDs (such as .wales) as the validation checks are looking for TLDs such as .co.uk or .com

The full OneNote 2016 version supports this without an issue, but as Office 2016 C2R updated recently on some of our systems, it removed OneNote 2016 in favour of the Windows 10 version of OneNote - Not only does it now have reduced functionality, but not being able to share notebooks with anyone in the same organisation because of the TLD issue is a major concern.

Office 365 support are unable to help as they deem this to be a Windows 10 issue.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
