    Microsoft does NOT fix this issue. You can't reach a live agent as "All support, due to COVID has been shifted over to Chat."NOT! Chat doesn't help you either. You get incompetent agents who tell you ridiculous things like "Contact your PC manufacturer NO, HP charges over $100 to do so, & even when I got them to give me a freebie on their supposed glorious "ConnectTech", they did nothing but actually screwed up my computer.People have been complaining about this for YEARS, and nothing gets done.It is Microsoft's responsibility to fix this problem, and not ignore the very customers tha

    How to connect to internet using ethernet (hard wired)

    This has yet to happen. Are there any steps I can take to configure ethernet to work hard wired?

    With new Windows/10 update my PC will not connect to internet using ethernet wire.

    With new Windows/10 update my PC will not connect to internet using ethernet wire.

    Is there a simple Microsoft fix I can use on my PC so I can return to using the internet via my ethernet wire?

    INTERNET KEEPS DISCONNECTING IN WINDOWS 10

    Hi,

    In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things.

    • Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Are you able to connect through wired connection?

    I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1: I suggest you to run the internet troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Once the window open click on View All located on the left navigation pane.
    • Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter.

    Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article
    “Fix network connection issues” and check if it helps.
