Windows 10: Online Play Restriced for Minecraft Dungeons - Window 10 PC

I am trying to set my child up to play Minecraft Dungeons on Windows 10 for PC. We have set up the Microsoft account, xbox account, subscribed to Xbox Live and every time he goes to the play online we get the error. Online Play is Restricted. I cannot find how to change the settings for online multiplayer except for how to do it from your Xbox console. We do not have a console we are playing on PC.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Players who already have the previous PC or Mac edition of Minecraft (running on Java) can download Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition for free.
You can play with up to four other people running Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition or Pocket Edition on your local network.
To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

• Were you able to download Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition on your PC?
• Did you purchase a copy of Minecraft for Xbox One?
