Windows 10: Online speed checkers major difference

I am running windows 10, For about the last month video clips have pulsed, play about a minute then download some more. One speed checker Google.co.UK says my down load speed is about 10M which seems accurate, whilst other speed testers report the expected speed of around 60M. I have tried turning off my virus checker, firewall, and ad blocker to no avail. Any suggestions please? George.

• Do you get same download speed every time your wife login?
• Since when are you facing this issue?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue?
• Is it Microsoft Account or Local Account?

I suspect this might have caused due to some corruption in the Account.

Hence, I suggest you to run the Microsoft Account troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Broadband speed is different on two different device

Hi,

I just bought a new PC and I found that my download speed is a lot lower on my new PC than on any other device in my house. After I ran a speed checker my new PCs download speed is about 20mb/s compared to my phone and ipad speeds which are about 44mb/s
(this is when I am connected to the router in my house) all of these device are using a wireless connection.

I have tested the RAM and CPU and everything is fine with them, all of my drivers are up to date, I ran anti-virus which found nothing, I reinstalled windows 10 which did not do anything.

Does anyone have other suggestion I can try?
