    Hello,I have Windows 11 Pro, freshly installed. At first, it worked OK, but one day after installation, my usable RAM dropped to 3.2 GB.Task manager detects that I have 8 GB, it just refuses to use them all. It wants to use only 4GB.I have a 64 bit system. All my RAM is properly detected in the BIOS.The amount of HARDWARE reserved RAM is 4.8 GB. Why is that? It wasn't like that, Windows suddenly decided to do it today.If I switch to Windows 10, I don't have this problem.Screenshot attached.

    I am using Windows 10 32 bit operating system with 8GB Ram. My laptop showing only 1.91 GB Ram usable, PLEASE help me how to used all 8gb ram?

    I have Windows 11 download with a 64-bit operating system and a x64-based processor but when I check my ram it says I have 8GB of ram but 7.98 usable! Does any know how to get my 7.98 GB of ram back?

    Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

    Hi There,

    I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

    • I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
    • physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it
    Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?
