Windows 10: only analog connection VGA cable is working

After update to 22H2 my display can only be detected through VGA cable, I was using display port before update. uninstalling latest windows update22H2 wont get it to work again DP.i have both cables connected now but only Analog driver can be installed, if i remove the VGA cable i wont be able to see anything. I tried a different monitor and still no DP signal.is itpossible my display port dont work anymore? it was working fine!dell monitor driver updaterivers for the following monitors have been found: DELL P2419HAnalog - DELD0D8 D

If what you bought is just a cable with a VGA connector on one end and an HDMI connector on the other end, it will never work for you.

You probably bought an HDMI to VGA cable. That won't work in reverse.

The VGA port on your computer produces an analog signal.

The HDMI port on your fancy new TV requires a digital signal.

You need an adapter that converts analog to digital. These converters need to be powered, which is why all VGA to HDMI adapters have a USB cable that connects to a USB port on your computer AND -- because HDMI carries both audio and video signals -- an
audio cable that will connect to the audio output port on your computer.

VGA is horrible *Smile. Sorry to be so blunt, but if you were purposely looking for the worst possible connection type, you've pretty much found it. VGA is an analog standard as opposed to all modern standards which are digital. Analog signals degrade with length of cable, cable quality is hugely important, any sources of electrical noise can also drastically affect VGA especially with poorer quality cables.

However, I'll second what @nIGHTmAYOR noted - some additional details would be helpful so that some suggestions geared toward your specific hardware could be made.

VGA is an analog signal; USB is a digital signal. You'll need a special type of cable with a built-in converter chip to see anything.
