  1. Only boots to BIOS utility screen after 1909 feature update last night.

I updated to 1909 at the start of Dec and was seeing 100% CPU and/or disk usage. Last night I noticed the features update, so I started the download and went to bed. When I awoke, my laptop was on the BIOS utility screen.

I've been unable to boot in safe mode and absolutely not able to load Windows.

    Anyone else experience this?

After update computer boots to Bios screen

I did what you told me and the computer booted right up a lot quicker too. I let it run all night and shut it down. So far it has restarted. I will have him play his videos and see what happens. So, what does this mean? Like i said it ran great before
the update and after it started acting up with the bios screen popping up, we did what was suggested, a fresh install (so not able to go back to the previous version) only to be faced with the same issue off and on. Why would it boot up fine sometimes and
other times boot only into bios screen and why would it just restart to the bios screen in the middle of doing something? Is it fixed doing what you suggested or is this a bandaid or a way to troubleshoot. Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn
    as much as possible.

    USB boot for bios update

Did the first step. It already doesn't work. Note the capacities and drive letters M:/N: The HP utility is about to format my raid-1 volume containing my 2 750gb drives. It thinks it's the usb stick. I can not select any other drives in the HP utility. My 512mb usb stick is U:.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Caleb,

To help you with your concern regarding the
Aptio Setup Utility or the Bios
Menu version 203, I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of your computer and update the BIOS.

Please go to Bing.com and search the following combination of words:

    • The name of the OEM + “contact information”
