Windows 10: Only getting 2Mbps with internet dongle.

I have just got a new PC for Christmas I set it up and tried to install a game on steam and only got Mbps I know there is something wrong because i used a speed test on my phone and got 20+ my dongle came with the PC and is a Realtek RTL8188CU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter. IS it something wrong with my dongle or PC. I am using Windows 10. Thank you.

Dongle is working properly but showing no internet

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle to connect to the internet instead of the built in WiFi adapter of your device? Or are you using a desktop PC and is the WiFi dongle to connect to the internet? For now, what we can suggest is to follow all of
the recommended troubleshooting steps on this article to resolve the issue. Be sure to click
Show all to see all of the instructions. Please follow all of the recommended so we could troubleshoot further.

If the issue would still persist after doing all of the steps, please answer these questions:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were there any updates/changes to your device prior to the issue happening?

How to get a dongle for Windows 10

Dear all,

Recently I have upgraded to window 10. for internet use I purchased a dongle and found that it is not compatible with Window 10. Could any one suggest as to how I can get a dongle for Window 10 version.

How to share Dongle's internet from a Windows 10 pc with Windows 7 pc through Wireless connectivity?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Open the Network Connections window on the host computer. Press the Windows key + R
  
• Type .
• Right-click on the adapter that is connected to the internet source.
• Select "Properties" and click the .Sharing tab.
• Check the "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" box
• Click the .Settings... button to enable specific services.
• Open your wireless router's configuration page.
• Open the Internet Settings page on the router. (The name may vary).
• Ensure that the "IP Address" section is set to "Get Automatically".
• Connect your other computers and devices to the router or hub.
