Windows 10: only one latop can't access google related websites

Hi,

suddenly, a laptop on my network cannot access google.com or youtube.com

I tried to download chrome or chromium even....doesn't open the page.

On firefox it says connection timed out.

by the way I added an add-on on firefox VPN browsec and it worked! but it's not normal. why is this happening!?

other devices on network can.

I tried other browsers, not working.

I cleared all history and cookies, still not working.

I did ipconfig /flushdns, still not working.


I bought a new router a few days ago but it was working fine for these recent days.

the laptop is windows 10


What can I do? please help.

NO ACCESS TO CNN OR GOOGLE WITH WINDOWS 10

I would suggest you to try to access CNN.com and google.com from Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

To find Internet Explorer, refer to the below steps.

  Tap on Windows Key and click on Search bar.

  Type “Internet Explorer” without the quotes and click on it.

  Then try to check if you are able to access those websites in Internet Explorer.

I cannot connect only Google related website such as google.com & youtube.com

Chrome browser can connect Google.

Edge & IE cannot connect Google.

• Refresh the page
• Search for what you want

• Make sure the web address Google is correct.
• Look for the page with your search engine.
• Refresh the page in a few minutes.

• Check that all network cables are plugged in.
• Verify that airplane mode is turned off.
• Make sure your wireless switch is turned on.
• See if you can connect to mobile broadband.
• Restart your router.

Unable to access Google websites on Windows 10.

The above issue might occur due to certain internet components missing or if the websites are blocked in the internet/browser settings on the computer.



Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• How are you connected to internet on the computer (Wired or Wi-Fi)?
• Since when are you facing the above issue? Did you make any internet setting changes on the computer?
• Do you get any error code or error message on accessing Google websites?
• Are you facing issues only on accessing Google websites?

Method 1: Run Internet Connections troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if any of the internet components is missing or corrupted on the computer.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
• Click on View all from the left side panel of the window.
• Select Internet Connections, click on
  Advanced and check Apply repairs automatically option.
• Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooter to complete.
• Check the status after the troubleshooting is complete, close the window and check if the changes are effective.

Method 2: If you are accessing internet via Wi-Fi, check if you are facing similar issue on connecting using an Ethernet cable on the computer.
