Windows 10: Only partial content showing in the windows on my desktop - can't scroll

The display of my the windows on my desktop suddenly changed. When maximized they would show the full content, or a scroll bar along the bottom and side if necessary. Now they are only showing part of the content, but with either no scrollbars or only a left side one to see the rest. There is no bottom scroll bar, whether it is maximized or in regular size of course it's worse in regular size because I can only see a small amount. If I physically resize the window, it still doesn't help. \


There's a program I use for work where I need to see all the columns, and even maximized I can only see part of the vertical rows from left to right. There are only 10 horizontal rows, and I can see those perfectly. There is no bar to scroll. I can use the arrows on my keyboard to move over and see more of the content, but that's an incredibly inefficient way to work. It's not the only window doing this, but it's the one that's really causing problems for me.


I have tried updating the graphic card drivers, changing the resolution, turning the window "snap" feature off and on, switching monitors, changing scale and size, as well as several other things that I'm trying to remember right now.


Please tell me there's a solution to this problem!

HELP 5870 Issues:CCC resets settings on restart, Partial desktop, Lock in 2D clocks!

I didn't understand! Are suggesting this as a prelude to re-installing the CCC again?
If yes, it's the case of fresh windows installation which I already did..
If no, removing CCC will result in the desktop switching to a horrible low rez (800x600) and there'll be no black border and no partial desktop!!
I did try removing only the monitors' drivers, as I said in my first post (Step 3), but I guess It wasn't clear..Sorry! English is not my first language, you know!

 

Start menu search not showing partial matches


Hi. I have windows 10 home x64 in my desktop. My laptop has the also windows 10 home x64 and displays correctly the start menu search partial matches for words that i search. The desktop won't do that.
For example i search in the laptop "word" and it show's me the Microsoft word application. To get the same result in the desktop i need to write the full name of the executable "winword" or it won't show matches. Another example is "paint"... i need to type "mspaint".
Windows explorer search works. It displays partial filename matches and partial file contents.
Only the start menu search is not working like it supposed.

Anyone can help me? The laptop is ok... the desktop isn't!!!

Unable to "get media content" from text messages.

My Nokia 920 on ATT was showing this exact error "getting media content" for a long time... finally spent a chunk of time attempting all suggestions above...

FIXED:

1. Created New MMS APN (steps here: Setup Guide for AT&T APN Settings Windows Phone & MMS Settings )
   • still didn't work
2. Deleted MMS APN
3. Group messages started working!! No more "getting media content", it just shows up.

Note: Didn't help

- WiFi on/off

- Back up text on/off

- Group text on/off

- Data on/off
