    Only prints in black what should be in color


    After installing a Windows bios upgrade I am unable to print anything that requires color in color. I am able to make copies in color and anything I try to print from my cell phone prints in color what should be in color.

    Color printing

    Although printer states it's printing in color, and it shows up in print preview, pages are only printed in black and white. This started with Windows 10. It was working fine prior to that. Any suggestions?

    thanks again, but I want it to print , both. I cannot get it to print black when I try to print a label for shipping or when I run a test page. It has a full cartridge

    I have tried to follow your above steps BUT I do not have the same screens showing that you do. There is no option to pick colors. I did try to print in black only from the printer settings on the printer, did not print, just a white sheet of paper.

    Color printing

    I would suggest the following steps:

    In Word, click on "File" - "Options".

    Click on "Display" - Select the box which says "Print background colors and images".

    Click Ok to save the settings and then try to print.
