Windows 10: Only search for hidden files in Windows 11 File Explorer search bar

Hello,I want to search my entire PC for any hidden files that I may need to transfer from my old computer mainly due to how Minecraft Java Edition saves in AppData; which is hidden. Is it possible to only search for hidden files in the search bar? I have tried "attributes:Hidden" from a post made ~3-4 years ago but it did not work for me.

Searching hidden files/folders

This is what I do:

• In explorer, browse to C:/Username
• Start a search there containing a folder name I know is in C:/Username/Appdata/Local
• The folder does not appear in search

Hidden files and folders are marked to be visible everywhere.
It seems like recursive search doesn't descend into hidden files/folders, because when I browse to Appdata and search there, I find it.

Any way to change this behaviorr?

 

Windows 11 file explorer search bar not working!

Hello Microsoft,

I have complaints to state regards to windows 11.

I recently upgraded from windows 10 to 11, while working with it, I found out that it always lags and slows down the pc mostly when three to four programs are on the run and it takes time to open up programs installed and file explorer.

The windows file explorer's search bar can not search my saved files not only that, the startup search bar can not search my local saved document either.

Please how can I fix these faults.

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.
