Windows 10: Only the letter c and m will work in browser or keyboard after latest update

I’ve found that since the latest/greatest updates, I can no longer use my keyboard to log in nor type in anything that requires the use of the lower keys {z x v b n m; c is the only letter that is working}. I have checked to see if I needed to update the keyboard Drivers, but the message comes back as You have the latest drivers of what is needed. So I attempted to roll back to a previous date to no avail. So I am unable to use my computer for my work. I have really tried to work with Microsoft on all of these snafus, but Microsoft will not work with me to eradicate their issues instead they have totally changed my computer into their guinea pig. My computer is now useless as I can not correspond in a proper written manner. So I would really like it if someone with knowlege of this issue would be so kind as to write a code or message as to how this issue can be resovled in a timely fashion. Thank You

Letter M will not work on keyboard

The letter M works on lock screen and all accounts of pc except Mine anytiMe
i want to use the letter M i have to copy and paste froM google i have windows 10 hoMe

The m, c and shift keys on my laptop keyboard intermittently stop working.

The m, c and shift keys on my laptop keyboard intermittently stop working.

This always happens when the computer starts up from being completely shut down or after it has been in sleep or hibernate mode.

To make m, c and shift keys work again, I press the m and k keys at the same time over and over again until the m key starts working. Then, I hold the m key down and just let it run for a while. After the m key starts working, I press and hold the
c key and just let it run as well.

After the process I just described and after the computer has been running for a while, the m, c and shift keys work just fine. If I close the laptop, which puts it in sleep mode, and leave it that way for a while, the problem returns when I
open the laptop and try to use those keys again.

I have tried a number of suggested fixes I have found on the internet. Including:

Running the Windows 10 Keyboard Troubleshooter - No problem found.

Sticky Key changes in Settings - No help.

Updating keyboard drivers (to include Uninstalling Device) - Didn’t help.

Starting the computer in Safe Mode - The m, c and shift keys don’t work here either.

Running Windows update – No help.

Updating my BIOS – No help.

Cleaning the keys - No help.

Using a USB connected keyboard – this works, no m, c and shift keys problems.

The on-screen keyboard works just fine.

All of the other keys on my keyboard work just fine.



Any ideas?

 

Some keyboard letters not working

• When you click the buttons on onscreen keyboard using mouse, what happens?
• What is the make and model number of the computer?
  
• Are you using a laptop or desktop?
• Are you using the external keyboard?

This issue might be caused due to program conflict or hardware problem.

Please follow the below methods and check if it helps:



Method 1: I would suggest you to run
hardware and devices troubleshooter and see if that helps.

a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.

c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on
Hardware and Devices.

d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Put the computer in a Clean Boot state to see if there is any software conflict as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.

Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps in clean boot, follow
Steps from the link to return the computer to Normal startup mode.





Method 3: Update the drivers for the Keyboard.



Follow these steps to un-install the Graphics driver:

a. Drag the mouse to bottom left corner and right-click on the “Start icon”.

b. Look for the Keyboard drivers.

d. Right-click on the keyboard drivers and click on “update drivers”.
