    ONN SURF 2-1 10.1 Screen flickering and locked


    Hello all, NOT SURE WHERE THIS SHOULD GO I bought a ONN SURF 2-1 10.1 tablet with detachable keyboard used 6 months ago. About 2 months ago at any time the screen will start to flicker and then the whole system will lock up. I I can't do anything but do a hard shut off on the system. After this the screen will be ok maybe for a few minutes or days. It seems to be happening more often. Can anyone help me fix this and I'm also interested in any updates I can download for this system. Thank for your time.

    My onn 2 in 1 won't start up. Its showing a bunch of computer codes and the last part says to press esc to skip startup.nsh or any key to continue. Below that its Shell》.if I press anything the shell just repeats itself....HELP

    Screen Flickering

    Return that card for something else. I've heard of many issues with Asus Direct Cu 7970's. You could try finding a different monitor to see if your monitor is the problem, but I doubt it.

    **I though you tried differnet cables. Buy a new cable and try it. Get a Dual Link DVI cable.

    Here's a list.

    1. Uninstall and reinstall video drivers.

    2. Replace cable

    3. Try different monitor

    4. Try different video card

    5. Replace video card.

    If you can do any of the steps above, just skip to step #5.

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.
