Windows 10: onthehub error download license key

Hi, I bought a [COLOR=rgba30, 30, 30, 1]license as a student I still am a student and yesterday I decided to reinstall my windows. I still have that license key, but it doesn't work: "The product key you entered didn't work. check the product key and try again, or enter a different one. 0x00f0805"[/COLOR]

When you upgraded from a previous version of Windows or receive a new computer preinstalled with Windows 10, what happened is the hardware (your PC) will get a digital entitlement, where a unique signature of the computer will be stored on Microsoft

Anytime you need to reinstall Windows 10 on that machine, just proceed to reinstall Windows 10. It will automatically reactivate. You will prompted to enter a product key a couple times through the installation, click I don't have
a key and Do this later.

There is no need to know or get a new key, but if you have issues with Digital Licensing or the Activation Troubleshooter, you can utilize an existing Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product key you already own to
reactivate if necessary. or use the reset function in Windows 10.

So I found this on the MS website.

Add Windows 8.1 Pro Pack or Windows 8.1 Media Center Pack to your edition of Windows 8.1

    Follow the steps to purchase and enter a product key.

  Would this be the way to do it? And would it matter that this would be the US version and not UK?
