Windows 10: Open applications randomly freeze for minutes without any error

Hi there,I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 3 with Windows 11 Pro latest: 10.0.22631 Build 22631 running on it. For months I have this problem where almost all my open applications freeze, meaning it opens from the tray, but I can't interact with it at all e.g. Slack, Chrome, GitHub Desktop, Notino, VSCode. It usually lasts from 5 to 10 minutes, after everything continues to work but unless I restart the laptop, the issue will be back within an hour. During this freeze I can't even open the start menu without restarting Windows Explorer first, so I have to do that even to be able to do a re

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

Windows 10 freezes randomly

Hello,

I have the latest windows updates, drivers, and BIOS.

The issue was caused by the Radeon drivers - i explained in my previous post.

To solve the issue I run a program called ClockBlocker that prevents the graphics card from downclocking and freezing the computer.
