Windows 10: Open encrypted drive without bitlocker with help of command prompt

1. Unlock drive in cmd with help of recovery keyif password not working 2. If E drive was encriptedCopy E drive into other drive suppose D with this command in cmdxcopy /h /i /c /k /e /r /y E: D:When copy completed Use this commandmanage-bde -off E:After some time you can exit cmd and restart your computer I unlocked my drive with this procedure in my laptopWith this procedure all your data copied in D and you can access your data.

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.

command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?

 

Bitlocker encrypted drive not prompting for password

I have a bitlocker encrypted file named myfile.vhd. On my PC when I double click it, it warns that it's encrypted, then prompts for a password. I copied the file to my wife's computer and when I double click it, or right click and select "Mount" from the
context menu a dialog box states:

"This drive is locked by bitlocker drive encryption. To open the drive, you need to unlock it first"

The only way I can unlock it on my wife's computer is through the control panel, which does unlock it.

Is there any way I can configure my wife's computer to prompt for a password when I double click the myfile.vhd file?
