Windows 10: "open files location" twice for one purpose

Discus and support "open files location" twice for one purpose in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; hi! - i have a lot of IMG 15000 of items 4 example in alot of folder 200 folder - so, i use keyword for searching 'em in Primary folder contain 200...     "open files location" twice for one purpose


    hi!

    - i have a lot of IMG 15000 of items 4 example in alot of folder 200 folder

    - so, i use keyword for searching 'em in Primary folder contain 200 folders in folders

    - i have an explorer with searching result

    - i choose some of them -> send it to Desktop create shortcuts

    The problem is:

    - on my desktop, [R-click] on recently items IMG shortcuts -> [open file location]

    - it opens the Search result of 15000 item there is a research again in Primary Folder

    - i have to wait that complete

    - then, i have to [R-click] AGAIN -> [OPEN FILE LOCATION] AGAIN to see last location of item

    - there is so waste time to re-search 15000 of items before go to last location of items

    why does a shortcut of specially item show the search result but not last location?


    is there any solution of ONE time [open files location] for last location, without re-searching result explorer?

    please help me!

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

    No, that's not the sort of 'file location' the OP is referring to. Your 'file location' opens File Explorer at the location of the shortcut for that app in the Start Menu's Programs folder. The OP wants the list of recently opened files, or the Jump List as it is known (hover over each one and it shows its file location). Theirs is turned off (and yours by the looks of it).

    Yes. This is the one. Weirdly it now shows all the recent files after update. Maybe that has something to do with it. I did not do anything at all.
