Windows 10: Open window taking long to load icons

Good dayi am running the most up to date version of Windows 11, when trying to open a file in any app the icons and file information take extremally long to load, this was never an issue till i switched to windows 11

Web browser takes to long to open.

hmmm not sure how that is going to fix the problem. As I said the browser opens immediately and browses the internet perfectly when I click on either the Edge icon or Chrome icon. It only takes a long time to open when the OS tries to open a browser or if
I click a link to go to a website from anywhere in windows.

Example of this. If I were to open the Kaspersky antivirus window and click on "My Kaspersky" at the bottom, it takes about a minute to actually open the browser. I did it while typing this and it still hasn't loaded an additional tab in my browser.....
ok it just loaded and I'm a slow typer. lol about 60 seconds from click the link to it opening the browser.

 

Website take to long to load

There are several reasons why a website takes too long to respond. One of which is if the internet connection is intermittent. To isolate the issue, please answer the following questions:

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
• Are you connected via wireless or wired connection?
• Does this happen to all websites you visit?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
