    winzip files

    Hi Alan,

For you to be able to extract or open a winzip file, you need an application that can open those type of files. Windows 10 already has a built-in zip/unzip feature that you can use to extract/open or compress files. For you to open a password protected winzip
file, you'll need to have the password of that file. If you don't have the password, we suggest you get in touch with the creator of the winzip file so that you can obtain the password.

If you still have any questions, feel free to reply to this thread.

    winzip files

Step 1- Double-click on the archive.

Windows has a built-in decompressor that opens the .zip archives typically created by Winzip.

Step 2 - When prompted, enter the password.
