    Opening a file with an .exe choice.


    Ok, this is driving me nuts.Windows 10 will not let me open certain files with my executable of choice, even if I try to change default for an extension.For example. I want to open a pdf with libre writter. I can't select the file and say open with, nor can I go to change the default app for .pdf, because it doesn't recognize/show libre writter as an appropriate application. I can only search the store for an app.Same is true with the contents of a zip file. I can't Open Readme.md with something like wordpad/notepad.It only allows me to search for an app in the store.WHAT HAPPEND TO OPEN W

    Exe file slow to open

    A SFX archive isn't going to open right away. The files have to be extracted first. When you are opening it in WinRar, it's not extracting the file, it's just reading it which is why it opens right away.

    WHAT HAPPEND TO OPEN WITH and selecting an exe to use.

    Sorry for the caps, but windows has become so user unfriendly, I don't want to use it anymore.
