Windows 10: Opening a thumbnail in Paint makes drawing slow/lag

Hi everyone, so recently I ran into a really weird problem. I do a lot of drawings in mspaint and have been working on one in the new Windows 11 version for quite some time, probably have about 10 hours of recording so far. I noticed in the new Windows 11 version that the thumbnail view has changed in a perfect way to create timelapse videos, which is what I normally do with my recordings. It's now possible to open the thumbnail view and simply record that on a separate monitor, instead of having to record the entire paint program and have all the zoom ins/outs in the final video which makes i

is fresh paint compatible with drawing pads?

I was playing around with the drawing app Fresh Paint and i was having tons of fun with it. As i kept drawing I saw how tedious using the mouse is and I was wondering if there is a special type of drawing pad that would be compatible with the app to make
the drawing easier?

Many thanks for you reply. I have done all the steps you suggested, but no change,

When I open a folder containing photos, some open correctly but the vast majority open with thumbnails, but they very quickly get overwritten and you can not longer see the thumbnails.

Are there any more suggestions?

I would suggest you to follow the methods given below and check.

Method 1: I would suggest you to run the App troubleshooter.

Refer:

Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps

If issue still persists try method 2.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall Fresh paint App.

Follow the steps to uninstall the fresh paint App.

Press Windows key on the keyboard and type Fresh Paint
in search box.

To uninstall the Fresh Paint app:

  Right click on the Fresh Paint app
  
• 
  Click on Uninstall.
  

Once the App gets uninstalled try to reinstall the app and check the issue. You can refer to the following link to install fresh paint.
