  1. Opening any window from a short-cut menu on the taskbar does not make it automatically...

    Description:

I'm using the file explorer as an example here. File Explorer is currently pinned to the Taskbar. Clicking on the File Explorer will normally open a new window and switch to it automatically as well. But if I right-click on the File Explorer icon and click on any of the options (File Explorer, Downloads, Documents, etc.), although a new window is opened, it does not automatically become the active window and the icon flashes orange on the taskbar.

While this is not such a big issue on File Explorer per se, it is a hassle when using the right click short-cut menu to open new browser windows or incognito/private browsing windows.

Further, I pinned Google Chrome to the Start Menu to see if it could act as an alternative. But there too the same behavior is repeated. Clicking works fine and opens and switches to the new window but any option from the right-click menu would not switch to the window and even the Start menu remains open and does not close.

I have tried searching for a solution but due to it being a problem not describable in few words it has not led to any fruitful solution. I suspect some setting somewhere might have been flipped since no one anywhere has a similar problem, but I can not figure out what it is. Any suggestions are welcome.

Since this is my first time posting here, there is a chance this gets posted at the wrong place or with the wrong settings. If this is the case, kindly point me towards the correct place to post this.

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?

    Dropped short cut

Once again I find myself looking for a long used short cut. Apparently Windows 10 and Bing do not like Yahoo. I downloaded 10 and was comfortable navigating around. The next day, I logged on and Yahoo was among the missing. Easy to go to Windows Edge
and then to Yahoo, but the program will not right click to a drop down and choices of creating a short cut on the desk top. I tried Mr. Smithers fix to get Google Earth back, but yahoo is not listed in the "Apps' section. Any suggestions. Thank you in advance.

  4. Opening any window from a short-cut menu on the taskbar does not make it automatically...

Taskbar hides and shows itself after opening start menu.

    Steps:

    1. Using HDMI for a second monitor.
    2. Open start menu using the icon.
    3. Close start menu using the icon.
    4. Click anywhere other than the task bars. (e.g. an open window, the desktop, even the first monitor's desktop)
    5. Taskbar on second monitor slides down to be hidden.
    6. Taskbar then immediately slides up to reappear.

If after closing the start menu (step 3), you click on the taskbar, then click outside the taskbar, this behavior does not occur.

Performing the steps on the main monitor's taskbar does not produce this behavior.

This has been happening for as long as I can remember using this laptop (~3years), with different nVidia drivers and Windows 10 updates.
