    Hi,When I close and open the lid while my Asus laptop is ON, it won't wake up. But the power button's LED is lit. The only way to enter the system again is holding the power for a few seconds. This restarts the PC, but the keyboard stops working. It doesn't work until I restart it again from the desktop, sometimes twice.The system is updated to the latest Windows 10 version. The most recent BIOS version for this PC on the Asus website is 307, but the system is using 308.I've tried the following thingsSetting the power options "When I close the lid" to Sleep as well as Do nothingRunning DISM ut

    Can't wake up laptop from sleep without opening the lid

    Hello.

    I used to be able to wake up my laptop with my USB mouse and keyboard, but about 1-2 months ago it stopped working.

    In order to wake it up, I now have to open the lid. I don't need to press any buttons, merely lifting the lid a few centimetres wakes the computer up.

    What's interesting, I can wake it up with mouse/keyboard within a few minutes of it going to sleep. But if I leave it in a sleep state for longer, if I walk away and come back in a few hours, mouse/keyboard can no longer wake it up and I have to open the
    lid.

    Any suggestions?

    I made a clean install but still can´t wake up computer from keyboard

    Ok I will update it.
    Yes, I was able to do that before, strange I´m not able to do it anymore then. Is it possible to fix it?
    I Don´t know about the lid, I will try. I get back to you
