Windows 10: Opening new tabs in foreground in Windows 11 24H2 with middle mouse button

Hi, I've recently updated to Windows 24H2 coming from 23H2 and I use the middle mouse button to open folders in a new tab, only now, in the 24H2 update those new tabs open in the background instead of the foreground. Is there any way to make the new opened tabs open in the foreground like before? Thanks.

When working with Windows I am used to open a new browser (chrome, Firefox) with the middle mouse button.
Unfortunately with the Logitech G602 it is no working

Ubuntu 16.04

In Ubuntu I have the same issue using the Logitech G602 : Mouse wheel does not work as middle button:

• Mouse wheel / middle button does not open a new browser tab
  
• Mouse wheel / middle button does not paste a text previously marked
  

To me it looks like a driver or settings issue.
How can I fix it?
(If I remember right I had the same issue under windows as soon as I installed the logitec driver)

 

Middle mouse button functionality changed in Windows 10 - Cannot open new tab or scroll old way

Hi,

Since upgrading my Windows 7 to Windows 10, my middle mouse button on my laptop can no longer can be used to open new tabs or close tabs in a browser. Further, it only scrolls in "multiple lines at a time" or "one screen at a time" instead of the old way
where I could drag mouse up or down to control the speed of a smooth scroll.

I've tried tinkering with different settings but to no avail. How can I get the old scrolling feature back, along with opening and closing new tabs with the middle mouse button?
