Windows 10: OpenVPN is not working after Windows 11 upgrade

Hi Team,I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 after that my OpenVPN client is unable to launch. Is anyone else facing that issue? I tried different blogs available on Internet to allow that OpenVPN app on firewall but none of them works.Can someone help me .

• Were there any changes made on the PC prior to this issue?
  

I suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps listed in
troubleshoot Windows 10 hangs or freezes and check
if it works.



Note: Article holds good for Windows 10.



You may also place the PC on a
clean boot state and check if it works fine. Reset the computer to start normally after troubleshooting. Refer

clean boot state for the same.



Note:

A ‘Clean boot’ starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.



Your computer may temporarily lose some functionality while in a clean boot environment, however that functionality will return when you
reset the computer to start normally after you have finished your troubleshooting.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

No IP is not the problem

I tested that

(How tested: Another vpn had 2 format the openvpn format not worked but l2tp worked. The vpn in question has only openvpn format)
