I'm in SSMS using bulk insert to import data from a csv file into SQL Azure DB. I am getting the following error. "Cannot bulk load because the file "Z:\Private\lliu\PINFO.csv" could not be opened. Operating system error code 997Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.."I've confirmed that the file is not locked and the proper permissions are set but still no luck. What does this mean and how do I resolve it?Thanks!

Please answers these questions to understand the situation better,

1. Did you make any changes to the system prior to this issue?

2. Which version of Windows 10 is installed on the system?

3. Is the issue specific to this program or application?

4. Does the issue occur on a Local account or the MSA?

I would suggest you to disable the Antivirus and check the installation status.

Also do clean boot and check if the issue persists please follow the below steps,

1.Go to Run by pressing
Windows + R simultaneously and then type msconfig.

2.On the Services tab of the
System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the
Hide all Microsoft services 3.check box, and then tap or click
Disable all.

4.On the Startup tab of the
System Configuration dialog box, tap or click
Open Task Manager.

5.On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click
Disable.

6.Close Task Manager.

7.On the Startup tab of the
System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer.

Note: A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install
a program or an update

I get Error 997.Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. whenever I try to install vc 2008sp1 x64 x86, vc 2010sp1 x 64 x86, and community visual studio 2015. I cant find a fix anywhere please help.

I'm trying to install Matlab, but the culprit is probably Visual C++ Redistributable (which Matlab is installing along the way).

When I run the setup, every time it fails with:

I already searched for a solution, and every article suggests to uninstall security updates which I don't have! Many articles are from a couple years ago, while I recently downloaded the Windows ISO and installed it. Could it be that those updates are already installed in my system, but I cannot uninstall them?

What to do?
