Windows 10: Operating System having no space left in the disk

Backstory: So, my Windows 10 pc, which is 5 years old, was working fine for me until yesterday. When it stopped connecting to the internet. I found out there was nothing wrong, but it wasn’t connecting so I decided to restart it. At this point, windows 10 went into an infinite boot loop, trying to diagnose the problem over and over again and failing each time. I went into cmds dos to find out the issue, which apparently was the disk E: (had no idea it existed). This held the operating system and had no storage left. Due to this, it couldn’t install or uninstall anything leaving me stuck in the boot loop. I know other people have experienced the boot loop but I haven’t seen a case where their disk was full. I’ve tried to force remove files from cmds, but I haven’t had success. Any suggestions on what to do?

My disk space is gone

Try to run theSystem Maintenance Troubleshooter.

• 
  Press Windows key + W and type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select view all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click System Maintenance,
  follow onscreen instructions.
  

I suggest you to run Check Disk which performs an analysis of the disk. Refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type chkdsk /f and hit enter.

Hello,

Taking into consideration that the free space is shrinking fast, it is possible that your system is creating restore points. To
delete restore points except for the recent one, simply follow the steps below:

• From the Cortana search box, type Disk Cleanup and click on the first result.
• Once the Disk Cleanup window appears, select the
  More Options tab.
• Under the System Restore and Shadow Copies column, click on the
  Clean up... button.

Once done with the steps, see if your disk space has expanded.

Disk Management - There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation

While trying to partition my Local Disk (C, I get the following error:

Disk Management - There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation.

System Information

Surface Book running Windows 10 Pro

SSD has 952.65 GB Capacity with 882.31 GB Free Space

Disk Management Utility shows 148 GB as space available to shrink

Steps Tried so Far:

a) Disable Hibernation

b) Disabled pagefile

c) Disabled System Protection

d) Disabled Kernel Memory Dump

e) Used Defraggler to defragment

f) Used free partition tools like Ease US Partition Master and Minitool Partition Wizard - The option to Move/Resize Volume are greyed out.

After all these steps, I'm still getting the same error. Please help.
