Windows 10: Operating system SSD frequently spikes to 100% usage, lagging the computer

I've recently been noticing random performance drops in my computer, and I noticed that they correlate to spikes in usage with one of my drives, specifically an SSD containing the operating system. I've tried to solve this issue by defragmenting drives, running disk checks and the system file checker, and even reinstalling windows completely, but to no avail. All of this has led me to believe that it's a hardware problem, and the only thing that I could think of that could possibly be causing this is a new monitor that I got. Significant CPU, GPU and RAM lag spikes

My computer is having significant lag spikes. How do I make my computer's CPU, GPU and RAM go down? Any tips or suggestions? Also I use this computer for gaming.

100% gpu usage!
6.5gb ram usage!
65% cpu usage!
Disk does fine, though.

Random 100% SSD usage spikes freeze computer for 15-30 seconds

Hey guys,

I've been having an issue with my computer for the last couple of months where it randomly freezes (could be simply using Word or playing any game), I've been trying to find a solution but I've been unsuccesful.

Whenever it happens, the task manager shows a 100% usage for the SSD without any real indication of what could be causing it:





Debating on buying another SSD to see if that fixes it.

Also, I found a post from 2016 with the same problem but I couldn't make Intel RST work on my PC

Random spikes of 100% disk activity on system drive.

Today I solved the issue, it was a persistent problem.
You have to update your kingston firmwere. That's it. Use Kingston SSD Manager
