Windows 10: Operations restricted and can't do any administrative things.

So I installed a software named Secure Exam Browser which proctored my Amazon exam. After completing the exam I tried to shut my PC down and when I click on the power menu in sidebar it says "There are no power options available". I tried to do it by Alt+fr on desktop but then I got a warning message "This operation is restricted. Contact the administrator"I have two administrator accounts for some reason. One is untouched and cannot be deleted one is my personal.I tried doing the registry editor thing where you set NoClose value to 0 and then restarted the PC from command prompt with shutdown

System administrator and You Tube restricted mode

2. How many user accounts are there on the computer?
   
3. Do you have another administrator account on your computer?
   

I suggest you to refer the following link to Turn Restricted Mode on or off on YouTube - Computer - YouTube Help for YouTube.

If you are having another administrator account on your PC, you can login to the administrator account and provide administrator access to the user account. Follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps:-

1. Tap on Windows + R on the keyboard.
   
2. Type netplwiz in the run box.
   
3. Under the Users tab, click on the
   user account and click on properties.
   
4. Under Group Membership, select Administrator from the list.
   
5. Click on Apply and OK.

Local Administrator account locked by family time restrictions

In this scenario we would suggest you to disable and the enable the
built-in Administrator account using the command prompt from a different administrator user account and check if the issue persist.



Steps to disable and enable the built-in Administrator account.

1. Click on Windows Search/Cortana and type
   CMD, right click on command prompt and select run as admin.
   
2. Type Net user administrator /active:no
   and hit enter key to disable the built-in Administrator account
   
3. Restart the PC and login to the
   Administrator account and perform step 1.
   
4. Type Net user administrator /active:yes
   and hit enter key to enable the built-in Administrator account

Operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect

Hi All

I logged on as Administrator on a PC and did a change in group policy to allow certain programs to run for users.

My thinking was that this will not affect the Administrator Account.

Now I want to go back to group policy but then I get the message Operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect.

In fact the message appears for all applications that I did not include in the list.

Help needed in getting to undo this setting.
