    Optane Memory Ready For Prime Time?


    I just ordered a HP computer. One of the features is Optane memory.

    After I placed the order I got to thinking I have never run across this tech before. Started looking over these forums and found very little info.

    One of the things I looked for was if Macrium Reflect was going to successful restoring an image. The Macrium support forum did not have any info.

    Now I'm getting worried about getting any help with support with the OS and hardware.

    Looking for any advice if you think it's a bit early to jump on the tech.

    Intel Optane Memory


    I'm waiting for an Intel Optane Memory Module to arrive.

    In the meantime I'm following up

    I get as far as Mount the Windows* Recovery Image:

    dism/mountimage/imagefile:c:\Win10USB\windows\windows\system32\recovery\w inre.wim /Index:1 /mountdir:winre

    and get

    mountimage/imagefile is unknown.

    Any ideas to get this working.

    Are there any issues creating and restoring Macrium Reflect systems images on a system with Intel Optane memory? My understanding is that Intel Optane memory remembers how you use the system. I was wondering how Macrium Reflect would restore that information.
