    Hello all,I am trying to encrypt some files, but the option to do so is grayed out in the properties menu see pic. I looked for an answer here already, but saw only a thread regarding windows 10 home does not have-only offered on windows 10pro/11/11pro.Please help me, this is really starting to annoy me to no end.Thanks for any help received!

    encryption is greyed

    i have a problem the encryption of folder is greyed out

    • I tried the enabling of efs by setting it to automatic
    • i tried enable encryption by command line.
    • i tried enable encryption by registry editor.
    i use a account as an administrator

    • using windows 10 home single language
    kindly help
