Option to log in with passkey from "iPhone, iPad or Android device (QR code)“ is missing

As you can see in this support article (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/identity-protection/passkeys/?tabs=windows), in the "Sign in with your passkey" menu there should be the following options: "This Windows device", "iPhone, iPad or Android device" and Security key (I can't test the "Linked device" option because I don't have an Android device).

However the option "iPhone, iPad or Android device (Sign in with QR code)“ is not displayed for me.

Have already tried it on two Windows 11 Devices (Build: 22621.2428).

Anybody have any idea what could be the reason for this.

Problem is Edge and Chrome use these native Windows passkey windows, and there is currently no way to sign in with my on iPhone saved passkeys.

Disable "iPhone, iPad, or Android device" option for Passkey Sign-in

Ok, so it is not that you already have that set up and have scanned the QR code using your mobile device, but you've been using security key instead, and now this pop up creates an extra step for you, because you have to click the security key option manually, is that right?

In that case, then no, the website will not be listed in the passkey section. And also there's no way to default the security key over the passkey. I am afraid this is something that will have to go to Feedback hub (Windows +F).
