Windows 10: Optional features install failed , error code - 0x80070490

Hello,I was trying to install optional features like notepad and wireless display , but i am unable to install , as the install failed due to the error code - 0x80070490Note: i have already tried the meteored connection trick , but isnt working for me.Thanks for the helpPc Specs :-I3-7130U , 2.70ghz8gb ramNvidia 940mx 2gb 1tbLaptop

This error code 0x80070490 is mainly related to Windows update. To verify some information, kindly provide answer to the following questions:

• When did you first encounter this software issue?
• Are you still on the process of updating when this error code appears?
• What is your Windows operating system's current build version?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far, besides Windows update troubleshooter?

Optional language features fail to install

I still have the issue. The OS tries to install the optional features for French keyboard and language multiple times and it fails every time. So it notifies me in the notification center. there is an error code 0x800F0908.

I can see the failed attempts and the error code in: Settings->Manage optional features->see optional features history.

The recent change is of course adding the French language for keyboard.

 

BIOS error codes

So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.
