Windows 10: Optional update not downloading and won't go away

    Optional update not downloading and won't go away


    About a week ago a bunch of optional updates showed with a note that said it should fix some issues I'm having. I installed all but a driver update that just would download, talk less of installing. And it's just been there, won't go away. So if there's no way to make it install, please help on how to get rid of it. It's messing with my OCD.

    Forza Horizon 4 Download won`t stop

    Hi I have the same problem like a lot of people too: my forza download just won`t stop its size is 62GB and i allready downloaded 140GB.

    I cant even find an option to restart the download or something. How do I fix this?

    I tried things like troubleshooter, wsreset, sign out sign in and a lot more, nothing helped.

    Vista x64 won't download updates?

    The last updates on my home desktop are dated 16th June.
    I've powered it on some 3 or 4 times since then, but nothing was downloaded automatically as per settings.

    I tried the manual update from the CP but I get an error code 80070002.

    I did the troubleshooting suggested (i.e. stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service, and then try to check for Windows updates again) but I still keep getting the same error code, even after rebooting *Confused Optional update not downloading and won't go away :confused:

    What gives?
