Windows 10: Organisation is no longer receiving notification alerting them of updates to install

Hi all,


We're using Windows 10 1809 and Windows Server 2016 as our DC (WSUS and GPO) and we've noticed for that users have stopped receiving notifications telling them that updates are ready to be installed.


When we run resultant set of policies on the machines we can see that 'Configure Automatic Updates' is enabled and set to '3 - Auto download and notify for install' - but no one seems to get any notification at all? From what I understand this has been ongoing for a couple of months now.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

No longer receiving email notifications of PM's or thread responses

as the title states i am no longer receiving any notifications from tpu. i have double checked my settings and everything looks to be setup right. is there an issue with the site?

If Outlook is showing in Notifications and Actions and is turned on, our next steps is to make sure that Outlook is configured to display alert by:

• Click File-> Options-> Mail.
• Scroll down to the section: Message arrival.
• Enable the option: Display a Desktop Alert.

If the steps didn’t solve the issue, please try to create a new Outlook Account and check if the issue persists.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
