Windows 10: Original MS Sculpt keyboard

I love my old MS Sculpt ergo keyboard. But the letter "g" is misbehaving: it goes from working normally to only working by pressing hard, then pressing many times and then, finally, not working at all! When that happens I take the top and bottom of the keyboard apart, slide a microfibre-wrapped credit card both beneath and between the two metal sheets immediately underneath where the "g" key sits, vacuum the area and then put everything back together again. Then the " g" works for a few weeks, days or, sometimes, hours before declining and packing up again. Any ideas on how I could do so

MS Sculpt mouse broke, new mouse doesn't work with original keyboard

Hi all,

I bought a MS Sculpt mouse-keyboard-numeric pad combo over 3 years ago. The mouse broke, cannot be repaired (my kids ). I bought a new Sculpt mouse and, just as I was suspecting, the keyboard doesn't work with the new mouse. I guess the keyboard was "tuned" to work only with the original mouse. Is there anything I can do? Will MS supply me with a new mouse that would work with the original keyboard? Can I somehow re-tune the keyboard to the new mouse? Or do I have to buy a new combo and throw my otherwise perfect keyboard in the trash ?

MS Sculpt mouse broke, new mouse doesn't work with original keyboard

The keyboard and mouse were paired with the same USB connector, so the new mouse will not be paired.

Did the new mouse come with its own USB connector? If you have both USB connectors connected, does the keyboard work with its connector and the mouse work with its?

Issues with using back sapce key through MS Sculpt wireless keyboard on Windows 10.

Original Title: MS Sculpt wireless keyboard

I use an MS Sculpt wireless keyboard with a Dell XPS 13 and recently updated to Windows 10. No problems at first then suddenly the back space on the keyboard has stopped working. I have tried updating the drivers, replacing the batteries, checked for loose
material under they key - but no success. Everything else on the keyboard works.

Also, if i remove the dongle from the laptop and then replace it, the keyboard immediately gets stuck on backspace so that text keeps being deleted until I press another key.

Any suggestions?
