    If i were to create a restore point of my system with my original OEM OEM Liscence Text: Windows is activated with a digital licence linked to your Microsoft account. Windows licence but then change it to another Liscence if i were to restore would it give me my old Windows licence back? The OEM licence..

    lost oem key

    after i have a chat with the microsoft service. i have my original OEM licence key in my BIOS. then can your step still be use for changing the fake licence that i'm using right now to the OEM licence.

    Hello,

    I am using win 10 pro upgraded from win 8 , after upgrading the win is activated with a digital licence , when I put my original win 8 key in the change the licence field the licence shows a oem key in the basic computer information page, does it mean any
    thing ?

    Hi Blago1985, sorry, OEM licences are not transferable to a new PC, that licence is tied to the original PC on which it was installed. It is only retail licences that can be transferred to another PC . . .
