Windows 10: Origins of Windows Vista Ultimate "Gift Pack"

Hi everyone, A family member recently gave me a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate "Gift Pack" with packaging that says "Especially for you, from Microsoft UK" on the front. However, I can't find any information about its origins or how it was distributed. From what I can tell, the software appears otherwise identical to the standard retail edition, but I'm curious - was this a promotional release, a limited-run variant, or part of a particular marketing campaign? If anyone has any insights, I'd be interested to learn more. Thanks in advance.

NSU Works On Vista Ultimate

I have got Windows Vista Ultimate to. I have done the following set NSU compatibility mode to Windows XP (servic pack 2) and have disabled my antivirus (Avast) and also turned off firewall and yet once i get to step 3 on NSU it still continues to say Software
update failed "downloading software update failed." etc Does any one have any ideas what may be causing this problem or have any other suggestions?

Maybe you know some one you can split the cost of one copy of Vista Ultimate (to freaking expensive imo) and get the 2nd one. I know Circuit City has Vista Ultimate in their add this week and it comes with a $75 gift card. Ultimate is expensive, but this sweetens up the deal some.

Ive got vista ultimate & i can download from NSU & Update my Nokia Phone . Right click NSU --> Properties --> Compatiblilty --> Compatiblilty Mode Select Windows XP Service Pack 2.

&Disable Antivirus/Firewall.

There you have NSU working on Vista!
