Windows 10: OS always launches and runs as administrator

    Application launch with "Run as administrator"

    Good afternoon,

    I have an issue with launching app.

    In my masters I use 2 users :

    UserXXX (Only User) and Admin (Administrator).

    1) I install software with Admin user and I have no problem.

    2) I launch software and with Damin user I have to choose "Run as Administrator" instead with UserXXX I don't need.

    I don't understand why Admin I have to choose "Run a s Administraor", do you have an idea ?

    Hi,

    As per the added information, I suggest that you run the command below to deactivate the administrator account and check if you will be able to roll back to the old OS that was installed prior to Windows 10.

    Steps to: Disable Built-in administrator.

      • Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
      • Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open Command Prompt.
      • Type the following command and hit Enter:
      • net user administrator /active: no

    To roll back to the previous OS, you can follow the steps mentioned in the previous post and after selecting
    Reset This PC select Factory Settings. This will revert your PC back to the original OS that was installed when the PC was purchased.

    Note: Create the Media Creation Tool to perform the above action.

    Please do let us know with the following information for better assistance:

    • What exactly do you mean by games does not run in the background?
    • Which are the games you are trying to launch?
    • Were you able to see any error code/ error notification while trying to launch the game?
    • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

    I would like to inform that the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x86,
    usually occupy 1 GB of the storage space.

    I suggest you to run disk cleanup to free the memory: Free up drive space in Windows 10
    and check.
