  1. OS Changing from x32bit to x64bit

I recently knew my machine is running 32 bit x64 processor and the problem of it is its operation keeps hanging when opening programs. Therefore, i was advised to change my window OS from 32 bit to 64 bi since it ia capable to run it. After that advice, i i downloaded that 64 bit installation set up file from Microsoft's webpage and after i did it i tried to run it but it kept giving a notification that "this app can't run on PC". So my question is that what could be the problem?

    Hi John,

Thanks for replying to us with the status of your issue.

As per your query, I like to inform you that; if your base operating system was x64bit, then after upgrade to windows 10 the architecture will not get changed to x32bit.

I suggest you to check the system property and check your system architecture.

    Follow the below steps:

    1) Press Windows key + R, type dxdiag and hit Enter.

    2) Click on the System tab and check for the system architecture.

Hope it helps, reply to us with the status of your issue. We will be happy to assist you.

    Thank you,
