error "string null" when upgrading Lumia to W10 with OTCupdater

Hello,

I have a Lumia 635 which is listed as a mobile that can be upgraded to W10 using the OTCUPDATER tool.

I have downloaded it and ran it on different laptops. I get this error "string may not be null" after a very short while.

I use the command "otcupdater.exe /Batch" as command.

The Lumia is connected to a USB 2.0 and is in fly mode as requested.

can you tell me what I do wrong ? Do I have to define a "specific" string with a "specific" value ? I don't find that info in the readme file.

Looking for some advice on this build

Alright. I think have pretty much finalized my parts list decisions. One final request for a look over to make sure there's no fatal incompabilities I may be missing. Suggestions for changes are still welcome, but I think I'm pretty settled here. Excluded is the case fromt his list, which I ordered from ISTExpress, Getting a CM Storm Sniper, and already have a used optical drive.

Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.
