Windows 10: "Other user" button/option is not showing at logon screen.

Hello,When I sign out or reboot, I am not seeing the "Other user" option or button at the bottom left. I have tried many things including what is in this article and it doesn't work.https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-login-screen-not-showing-other-user/31a24063-7d7b-4c8c-8a3f-f9ed7b1d7a26It only shows like this:I am on Windows 10 Pro latest release/updates and not joined to a domain.I am thinking it is a combination of things but not sure what. power button on logon screen

hello. i am missing the power button on my logon screen. i used the suggested registry fix and it did not work. Any suggestions?

 

user accounts missing from logon screen

I have several user accounts on my laptop but after updating recently only about half of them now appear on my logon screen.The accounts still show in the users folder and are in the NETUSER list but they don't show in NETPLWIZ box.I have seen articles
that suggest this can be fixed in win 10 pro but I'm on win10home.I believe its a well known issue ,,How do i fix it? ta

 

Logon Screen shows 2 users but there is only 1 user

On a friends laptop which was given to him, on the startup/logon screen he sees 2 names. His own and the
previous owner.

He said he deleted the user account for the previous owner and if I go to users, it only shows him as the sole
user as administrator.

If I use the netplwiz command to try an hide the original user, it only shows the new user and I think it was
users/workgroup. The Users/workgroup is greyed out so I cannot change or delete this user.

If the original user account who was the administrator was deleted, why is her name showing up
on the logon screen?

This laptop is running Win 10 Home.

Assistance needed to show only current user/administrator on the logon screen.
